Power Duct & Furnace Cleaning
The first step to insuring that the air you breathe in your home is healthy
• A six room dwelling collects approximately 40 pounds of dust each
year.
• Over 27 species of fungus have been identified in duct work.
• Also found in ducts are bacteria, viruses, dander, dust mites,
mold, grease, pollen and micro-organisms.
• Higher utility bills caused by inefficient air circulation due
to dust clogging. Also causing hot and cold spots.
• Carpets, upholstery, walls and clothing get dirtier quicker, requiring
cleaning more often and earlier replacement.
Duct Cleaning Procedure
1) A powerful commercial vacuum is attached to both the supply & return
duct work by the furnace.
2) Each register is sealed.
3) One at a time, each register is opened, blown down with the duct ball
at 175 PSI to loosen dirt and debris. Then the register is resealed. This
assures that maximum air flow is established through each register.
4) The supply and return duct trunk lines are blown down by the duct ball
using panels for access.
5) The blower and blower compartment are thoroughly cleaned to prevent
the recirculation of the dirt and debris.
6) The burners are then cleaned to maximize furnace efficiency. Also an operational test is performed to assure safe operation.
7) High efficiency air filters are available.
